All guests must be referred by someone related to their medical care. This could be a nurse, doctor, social worker, case manager or other patient related staff member.

    Our Lodging Partners

When making a reservation, please inquire about additional grants that may be available to lessen costs associated with lodging. Grants currently offered include:

    Healthcare Hospitality Network

The Healthcare Hospitality Network, Inc. (HHN) is a nationwide professional association of nearly 200 unique, nonprofit organizations that provide lodging and support services to patients, families and their loved ones who are receiving medical treatment far from their home communities. Sarah's Guest House is a member of HHN.

There are many independently run healthcare hospitality houses like Sarah's Guest House all over the country. If the house is a member of our national association, you can look at the Healthcare Hospitality Network website here.

If you do not find a house, we recommend contacting Joe's House, a lodging referral resource for patients. Joe's House can provide contact information for hospitality houses that are not members of HHN, as well as lists of hotels that offer a medical discount rate.

What Our Guests Have To Say

    • Larry
"I didn't realize having such a nice place to stay near the hospital would relieve my anxiety so much."
      Larry
      Beavercreek, OH
    • Ann
"To all the supporters of Sarah's Guest House - thank you. With all our medical bills, I would not have been able to stay near my husband without this place. This has been the greatest blessing ever."
      Ann
      Carthage, NY
    • Carla
"After getting a cancer diagnosis in December, I was in shock and so scared. I needed to start daily treatments right away. I was in severe pain, feeling terrible and taking a lot of medications. Plus, I live 70 miles away. I needed the support of one of my sons at all times. When I found out about Sarah's Guest House, and that my son could stay with me, at least part of the weight was lifted from me. I just can't thank everyone involved enough. From the amazing job the cleaning staff does to the wonderful people and organizations who donate money, food, time and other necessities. Also the staff: David, Renee, Kim, Meg and others who keep it running smoothly. And of course, a special thank you to Mary, the founder, who created something so needed and appreciated."
